Princess Charlotte “can’t wait” to start school with elder brother Prince George.
A source close to the Royal Family told People that Charlotte “can’t wait to be at big school with George”.
“She’s so excited about it all.”
Four-year-old Charlotte will join George at Thomas’s Battersea in London on September 5.

Six-year-old George, the future King of England, has already been at the highly-regarded school for two years.
George is also said to be excited about showing his younger sister around.
“They are close in age, and they spend so much time together,” the insider told people.
“Playdates [with outsiders] can be tricky, so they learn to lean on each other.”
Thomas’s Battersea is an extremely prestigious school, commanding a $34,000 annual fee per child.
It comprises of a Reception programme, Lower School and Prep School.
Charlotte will start in Reception, which comes before Year 1, while George is about to embark into Year 2.
“The curriculum presented in Year 2 reflects the increased ability of the children, both academically and socially,” said Head of Lower School, Helen Haslem on its website.
“It sees the completion of the basic skills in literacy and numeracy in Key Stage 1. Individual strengths and talents begin to emerge, which you will undoubtedly begin to see.
“The children are asked to become more responsible in Year 2; this may start with children recording their own homework in their diaries,” she continues.
“This increasing independence allows for a smooth transition to the Prep School,” she explains.
The school drop-off and pick-up should be a breeze for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex: Thomas’s Battersea is a quick hop over to the south bank of the River Thames from their Kensington Palace home.
The family have been enjoying what’s left of the summer holidays.
With the children in tow, Prince William and Kate were spotted taking a budget flight from Norwich to the Scottish city of Aberdeen, where it’s understood they continued their journey to Balmoral Castle in the Highlands to visit The Queen.
The Queen tends to spend most summers at her royal Scottish retreat.
Yesterday it was revealed that The Queen was unamused by the damage caused to her Buckingham Palace lawn by Donald Trump’s helicopters when the US President visited the UK in June, jokingly saying it was “ruined”.
