It was back to normal programming today as the Duke followed in his mother's footsteps and shared his sign language skills.

The Duke beamed as he signed ‘congratulations’ as he gave an MBE to sign language expert Alex Duguid, who has signed Emmerdale and Coronation Street for deaf TV viewers for decades. Duguid replied ‘thank you’.

His mother, Princess Diana, learned sign language in 1983 as patron of the British Deaf Association.
