The Princes' mum, the Duchess of Cambridge, has released three adorable photographs ahead of Louis' birthday.

The photographs were taken earlier this month at Anmer Hall, the home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. The family have been staying in Norfolk during Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s school holidays.

Catherine, who has a penchant for photography, also took Prince Louis’ first official portraits, shortly after his birth on 23 April last year. Louis looks positively angelic, as he sits smiling, covered in grass, in the garden for his first-ever birthday portraits.

Prince Louis is the fifth in line to the throne and is expecting a new cousin any day as the Duchess of Sussex is due to give birth at the end of this month or early next.

It is a busy time for the Royal family, who celebrated the Queen’s 93rd birthday on Sunday. And Prince Louis’ sister, Charlotte, turns four on 2 May. The happy family are believed to have celebrated Louis’ birthday a day early on April 22, as Prince William is traveling on Tuesday to New Zealand for a two-day visit to pay tribute to those affected by the Christchurch terrorist attack.
