Prince Harry delighted fans with a surprise appearance at England's open training session.

Having just taken over the role as Patron of English Rugby from his Grandmother, Prince Harry delighted fans and onlookers at the country’s open training session at Twickenham.

Prince Harry sat amongst the 12,000 strong crowd, watching on as the athletes trained and prepared for their upcoming season and Six Nations match.

A huge rugby fan and talented player himself, Harry was thrilled to be appointed as Patron of his favourite sport.

Following the training session, Harry moved onto the field, chatting with players and training staff about the upcoming game and getting in touch with those who participate in England Rugby’s ‘Try for Change’ programme – an initiative helping disadvantaged people across England and around the world, through the power of Rugby.
