Prince Harry and Prince William Broadcast For Mental Health
Prince Harry and Prince William joined celebrities including Dame Judi Dench, Lady Gaga and David Harewood to make a nationwide radio broadcast about mental health.

Just days before he will marry Meghan Markle, Prince Harry has made time to speak up on an issue close to his heart – mental health. Joining older brother Prince William, actors Dame Judi Dench and David Harewood,American singer Lady Gaga and athlete Jessica Ennis Hill, Prince Harry used the opportunity to promote the importance of caring for your own mental health.

“No matter who you are, or what radio station you listen to”, Dench says. “All of us have moments when we life is tough”, Gaga takes over. “And sometimes you just need someone to talk to. Taking care of your mental health is important for everyone. Whether you listen to songs by Prince on the radio to get out of your head, or you’re an actual Prince on the radio.”

“Just starting a conversation on mental health could make all the difference”, Prince William says. “When you talk about something you have less reason to fear it.” Prince Harry steps in, saying: “If you do have the courage to speak about it, you really can make things better.”

“This simple message can make a big difference”, Ennis Hill says. “That’s why radio is coming together today to talk about mental health.”

“How are you feeling today?” Dench asks. “It’s okay to say.”

The broadcast was a unique moment for British radio, as hundreds of stations across the United Kingdom came together to play the same message at the exact same time. Listen to the broadcast for yourself below.
