Prince Harry arrives in the UK ahead of Prince Philip’s funeral

Prince Harry has landed in the UK ahead of Prince Philip’s funeral.

The Sun reports the Duke of Sussex was spotted disembarking a British Airways flight from Los Angeles at Heathrow at 1.15pm.

His wife Meghan did not travel with him, as she has been advised not to fly due to her pregnancy.

Harry will reportedly now go into quarantine ahead of his grandfather’s funeral.

It’s the first time Harry has returned to his home country since he and Meghan moved away from the UK.

It will also be the first time Harry has come face to face with members of the Royal Family since the couple’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Prince Philip’s televised funeral will take place at Windsor Castle on Saturday 17 April local time.

Only 30 people will be in attendance due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The event will be a “ceremonial royal funeral” rather than a state funeral, with a palace spokesperson saying this “very much reflects the Duke’s wishes”.
