Some of the youngest – and cutest – members of the royal family are getting behind all the hard work that the National Health Service workers are currently doing to care for those impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak in the United Kingdom.
Today, Kensington Palace’s social media accounts shared a clip of Prince George, Prince Charlotte and Prince Louis clapping in appreciation for all those healthcare workers fighting tirelessly to combat the novel coronavirus outbreak.
The three young royals are joining in the “Clap for our Carers” campaign – a nationwide initiative in the United Kingdom that has been created to show appreciation for NHS workers during this challenging time.
“To all the doctors, nurses, carers, GPs, pharmacists, volunteers and other NHS staff working tirelessly to help those affected by #COVID19: thank you,” reads the post.
The post comes following the commitment made by Queen Elizabeth last week. In an official statement on the global pandemic, she wrote: “You can be assured that my family and I stand ready to play our part.”
