The wait will soon be over for Game Of Thrones’ fans, as the hit TV show final series screens on the small screen later this month. The shows’ cast has, however, been given a sneak peek of the first episode in the series, at a premiere in New York.

Last night, the cast and crew members of Game of Thrones stepped out on the red carpet to watch the season 8 premiere in New York City, all of them dressed to the kill.

Dozens of cast members including Sophie Turner, Emilia Clarke and Gwendoline Christie walked a blood-red carpet through Rockefeller Center, near a 35-foot-high replica of the show’s Iron Throne.

Watching the final premiere of a show that’s been such an integral part of pop culture was undeniably emotional, something that Emilia Clarke, who plays the inimitable Daenerys, summed up nicely to The Hollywood Reporter.

“This is bonkers. I feel great, and weird, and strange.”
