Olivia Newton-John has released a lighthearted video message for her worried fans addressing worldwide reports that she’s at death’s door.

Australian actor and singer, Olivia Newton-John, who has been treated for breast cancer, has posted a video addressing US media reports that she is ‘clinging to life’.

In September, Newton-John announced that she’s once again battling cancer. In an interview with Australia’s Sunday Night television show, the singer-actress said she had been diagnosed with a tumor at the base of her spine, and expressed her conviction that she “will win over it.”

Earlier this week, reports surfaced that painted a dire picture of the star’s life and suggested she might not make it much longer. However, the 70-year-old Grease star has now come out and publicly dismissed the rumours.

“Happy New Year everyone, this is Olivia Newton John,” she said, looking happy and very much alive, in the video shared on her Facebook and Twitter pages. “The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated, to quote a very famous quote.”

“I’m doing great. I want to wish all of you the happiest, healthiest 2019 possible. Thank you all for your wonderful love and support for me and my Olivia Newton John Wellness Center in Melbourne, Australia. Thank you so much and happy new year.”

Newton-John is being treated with radiation therapy and natural remedies including cannabis oil.
