Moët Ice Summer Sessions mark the season of champagne

Moët & Chandon is excited to announce the launch of the Moët Ice Summer Sessions, three bespoke champagne events where people can enjoy great music and sunshine over a goblet of champagne on ice in the heart of Auckland’s vibrant viaduct.

HeadQuarters will play host to the highly anticipated Moët Ice sessions from December through to February. Each session will be open to the public and will include live DJ sets from the likes of Jaimie Webster Haines, Justin Sweeney and Gracie Taylor as well as a curated Moët Ice Impérial cocktail list.

As the first champagne designed especially to be enjoyed over ice, Moët Ice Impérial embodies the freedom and beauty of a Summer party that combines friends, fun and sun. “Moët Ice is the perfect drink for the Kiwi Summer, it’s a new champagne experience that is both refreshing and playful,” says Ali Campbell, Moët & Chandon Senior Brand Manager. “We are excited to be partnering with HeadQuarters to help bring these Summer sessions to life for all to enjoy. Not only will guests be able to enjoy the vibrancy of the beautiful viaduct precinct, but they will also be able to celebrate the week’s #Moëtmoments with a goblet of Moët Ice Impérial.”

Moët Ice breaks all the rules with its suggested serving over ice, an experience that introduces fresh and free sensations while remaining true to the Moët & Chandon style, a style distinguished by its bright fruitiness, its seductive palate and its elegant maturity. The proper ritual when serving Moët Ice is to first pour the Champagne into a large cabernet-style glass and then add the three large ice cubes to ensure it doesn’t lose its effervescence.

Fresh garnishes can also be added to heighten its freshness and aromatic intensity with a choice of mint leaves, lime or white grapefruit zest, cucumber peel, slices of ginger, cardamom seeds and any red fruits (strawberries, raspberries).
