Man reminds the world to join together in touching tribute
Amidst the panic and desolation, one man's performance speaks wonders about the power of human connection.

In the aftermath of Paris, Beirut and Baghdad, the world is still reeling from an unimaginable sadness.

But in the midst of darkness, there is always a light to be found. One man, upon learning of the horrific attacks set upon that path to provide a light, if only for a short while, to the people of Paris.

Pianist Davide Martello, 34, decided to use his wondrous talent to make people smile and help communites come together with a beautiful rendition of John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ outside the Bataclan theatre.

Upon hearing about the harrowing events in Paris, the musician grabbed his piano and transported it 400-miles to Paris. “I phoned my friend to talk about it, got in the car and drove all through the night,” he told The Guardian.

“I just knew I had to do something.”

“I wanted to be there to try to comfort, and offer a sign of hope.”
