La Prairie Launches The Art of Luxury at Sydney Airport

There really is nothing worse than stepping off of a flight with jet-lagged skin. Fortunately, thanks to our favourite luxury skincare brand La Prairie, there’s now a way to help conquer dehydrated skin and unwind pre-flight if you’re departing from Sydney.

Partnering with Heinemann Australia, La Prairie has launched The Art of Luxury which will offer guests an indulgence pampering experience at Sydney Airport for the next few months until September 2019.

“We are bringing a unique immersive experience to Sydney Airport to allow guests to select either a luxury treatment in a private suite or an express service that can be performed on counter,” says La Prairie Managing Director Australia and New Zealand, Rosi Fernandez.

For those who want to ensure their complexion is healthy and hydrated once they reach their destination, 30-minute long luxury treatments (which include a 10-minute consultation) will on offer in a private beauty suite. Your therapist will select a treatment from the Platinum Rare, Skin Caviar or White Caviar collections that addresses your own skincare needs and concerns. To get your skin flight ready, the treatment involves deep cleansing, a facial massage and application of decadent La Prairie products.

The White Caviar collection is one of the luxurious offerings used for La Prairie’s luxurious pre-flight treatments.

Discover the art of beautiful skin as a La Prairie selects and applies the perfect ritual that will leave your skin revitalized and glowing. Transiting and need a quick pick-me-up? 14 of the Best Met Gala Looks of All Time

The first Monday in May is less than a week away now, which means we’re gearing up for all the red carpet action from the fashion world’s most highly anticipated event on the calendar – the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institue Gala. To celebrate, we’ve rounded up some of the best Met Gala looks from the last few years.

This year’s theme Camp: Notes on Fashion – which opens to the public on 9 May – has been inspired by Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay Notes on Camp.  So if you want to know what to expect your favourite celebrity to turn up wearing come next Monday Sontag’s essay offers some clues ” “Camp is the love of the exaggerated, the ‘off,’ of things-being-what-they-are-not,” Sontag writes. “Camp is a woman walking around in a dress made of three million feathers. The whole point of Camp is to dethrone the serious. Camp is playful, anti-serious.”

Take a look at our favourite past Met Gala looks in the gallery below.
