Interactive travel experience set to open in Melbourne
As the months wear on and the borders remain closed, we can’t help but miss travel abroad.

But Melburnians will be able to embark on an overseas trip of sorts with the arrival of Wanderlust Melbourne on 5 December.

The pop-up attraction is an interactive travel experience inviting visitors to traverse imaginary borders and escape to five of the world’s dream destinations.

Wanderlust Melbourne will allow travellers to discover the bustling streets of London and New York, the iconic cityscape of Paris, an idyllic tropical beach and a snow-filled Winter Wonderland.

Visitors to the attraction in Fitzroy will enter via an airport departure gate and arrive in a world of sensory wonderment where they can immerse themselves in the sights, smells, touches and tastes of the destinations.

The multi-sensory attraction will recreate some of the best-known landmarks in each location. See the bright lights of Times Square, take a snap in front of Big Ben, marvel at the Eiffel Tower, pull up a deck chair on a tropical beach and take a selfie in a 4-metre snow dome.

Wanderlust Melbourne can even be booked for events of up to 100 people with a range of packages available. The experience will comply with COVID-19 health and safety guidelines and will have a COVID-19 safe plan in place.

Tickets to Wanderlust Melbourne are $29.50 per person and are on sale now at wanderlustmelbourne.com.au
