While we can, unfortunately, rule out attending a concert any time in the near future, Lady Gaga has come to the rescue and curated a stellar line-up for One World: Together at Home.

To get the gig off the ground Lady Gaga and the World Health Organization have partnered with Global Citizen – a music festival that’s already produced social-distancing friendly concert for the likes of Chris Martin, Jennifer Hudson and Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello. The live concert – which yes, you’ll be able to watch from the comfort of your couch in your PJs – is set to feature some of the biggest names in entertainment.

Billie Eilish, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Idris Elba, Lizzo and Paul McCartney are just a few of the big names that will perform on the 18th of April. Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel will host the event

The at-home concert will celebrate and support healthcare workers who are working tirelessly to fight COVID-19. One World: Together at Home will also feature the real experiences of doctors, nurses and families around the globe.

The concert is being supported by supporters and corporate partners in benefit of the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

“We may have to be apart physically for a while, but we can still come together virtually to enjoy great music. The ‘One World: Together At Home’ concert represents a powerful show of solidarity against a common threat,” says Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of WHO.

While talking to Jimmy Fallon about the event on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lady Gaga revealed that she has been actively rallying corporations and philanthropists to join the One World: Together At Home. In fact, the campaign for the Solidarity Fund has already raised over $35 US million.

While live on air, Gaga and Fallon called up Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple and asked him to confirm his donation of $10 million to the Solidarity Fund. Gaga thanked him and told him that she would name her next single “Tim Cook.”
