Here are a few tips to keep your flowers fresher for longer:

  • Wash your Moccona jar thoroughly to avoid mould growing in the vase.
  • Keep vases off heating units, TVs or other appliances as the heat can wilt them.
  • Cut off any leaves below the waterline. This helps prevent bacteria growth and slow down the decaying process.
  • For flowers with woody stems, like hydrangeas and lilacs, gently crush the stems so they can better absorb water.
  • Keep daffodils by themselves as they create a sap that can damage other stems.
  • Flowers a bit wilted? Try reviving them by submerging in cool water for a few hours.
  • Dried flowers are a great alternative to fresh bouquets. Simply cut off the stem’s leaves, bundle them up and hang to dry for a few weeks. Once they’re dry, pop them into a
  • Moccona jar (no need for water) and display how you like.
