Ditch the blue light before bed
Not getting a good night's sleep? Wake up feeling tired?

Experts suggest you ditch the blue light before bed to improve your sleep.

A study by researchers at the University of Houston College of Optometry has found that the blue light emitted from digital devices can contribute to sleep dysfunction.

The largest source of blue light is sunlight, but it’s also found in most LED-based devices like iPads and mobile phones.

The blue light has been found to boost alertness and suppress melatonin.

The researchers recommend limiting screen time, applying screen filters or wearing computer glasses that block blue light.
