Hillary's inspiring concession speech was a reminder to women and girls everywhere to never give up and always believe in themselves.

As the world is left reeling after the shock results from yesterday’s election, Hillary Clinton gracefully and with absolute humility, brought a glimmer of hope to those who had felt as if theirs was lost.

In what will be known as her most graceful and dignified moment, Hillary, sombre and saddened by the results, addressed an equally devastated room of loyal supporters and staff members.

“Last night, I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country. I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans,” she began.

“This is not the outcome that we wanted and we worked so hard for, and I am sorry that we did not win this election for the values we hold and the vision that we share for our country.

“But I feel pride and gratitude for this wonderful campaign that we built together. This vast, diverse, creative, unruly, energised campaign. You represent the best of America and being your candidate has been one of the greatest honours of my life.”

Her speech was a true testament to the values she so openly based her campaign on throughout the last 19 months. Acceptance, empowerment, support and most importantly, heart – Hillary called for her supporters to remember these core values and that America as a nation was “stronger together.”

Members of the room, desolate and exhausted, were brought to tears by Hillary’s fighting words and strong conviction.

As her own husband wiped away tears and her top aides openly wept in the front row, Hillary continued on with unfaltering energy.

“I know we have still not shattered that highest and hardest glass ceiling, but some day, someone will, and hopefully sooner than we might think right now,” she said.

“And to all the little girls who are watching this, never doubt that you are valuable and powerful and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your own dreams.”

And in the very definition of grace, Hillary extended her support to her competitor.

“Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and a chance to lead,” she finished
