We're almost halfway through August but there are still plenty of cultural, sporting and lifestyle treats left to enjoy in the City of Sails before the month is out. And we take a cheeky look at what to start putting in our diaries for September, too.

It might not feel like it right now – especially when a tornado slams into the city’s waterfront – but for Aucklanders, spring is just around the corner.

And there are festivals, home shows, pet expos and thespian delights to keep us all entertained over the coming, ever-warming, weeks.
