This Detroit homeowner is desperately trying to trade his home for an iPhone 6.

Some people will do anything for the latest gadget to hit the market. Take Larry Else for example. The Detroit homeowner has been unsuccessfully trying to sell his home, dropping the price every so often. Now, he’s willing to trade it in for an iPhone 6.

“It’s a real listing,” Else told My Fox Detroit. “My client is overseas and he told me he would be willing to trade the property for an iPhone 6. It sounds to me like he wants the [iPhone 6+] version, but I think he’s willing to negotiate.”

The Detroit local is also happy accept a 32 gigabyte iPad or sell his home for $3,000, according to the home’s listing ad on Zillow.

Referring to the home as an “investor special”, the listing does fail to mention that the homeowner owes $6,160 in property taxes and that the home “needs major renovations”.

Since Fox 2 broke the story on Monday, Else has had three offers for the home: one for an iPhone 5, one for $700 and one for $850. The homeowner is urging folk to act fast as the home could go into foreclosure any day now.
