Coldplay and the cast of ‘Game Of Thrones’ unite for Red Nose Day
Game of Thrones musical? Yes please!

Red Nose Day has been an institution in Australia and the UK for the past 30 years. The day that calls for its participants to don a ‘red nose’ to raise awareness for SIDS in Australia, raises awareness and funds to fight childhood poverty in America and the UK.

This year for the first time, American will be fundraising in true hollywood style, with a star-studded three-hour TV event airing thursday on NBC.

Richard Curtis, the man behind the Red Nose Day charity, and acclaimed director of Notting Hill, Bridget Jones’s Diary and Four Weddings and a Funeral, has helped raise over $1 bn towards the cause.

The event will be hosted by Seth Myers, David Duchovny and Jane Kowalski and will feature Will Ferrell, Nick Offerman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Helen Mirren, Jodie Foster, Neil Patrick Harris, Ian McKellen and many more.

NBC has released a few teasers to give audiences a taste of what they can expect from the celebrity spectacular and they’re looking pretty amazing.

They feature Anna Kendrick reenacting Indiana Jones, Peter Dinklage singing the Game of Thrones blues and Coldplay teaming up with the Game of Thrones cast for a “bum” filled musical number featuring original songs from frontman Chris Martin, performed by the cast.

The three-hour event will give viewers the opportunity to pitch in to help kids in the US and around the globe, to fight childhood poverty.
