Jacinda Ardern’s soon-to-be husband Clarke Gayford has received praise online for his ‘genius’ birthday cake creation for daughter Neve’s third birthday.
“So the birthday cake brief from my almost 3yr old client changed daily from Frozen to Moana then Mickey Mouse and repeat,” Gayford explained on social media when sharing the cake.
Gayford had the ingenious idea to project the movies onto a TV-shaped cake to “make 3 cakes into 1.”
Ardern, who says she left the birthday cake up to Gayford after she struggled with it last year, praised admits she encouraged Neve by “showing pictures of elaborate cakes.”
“But then Clarke came up with his own genius solution to a child who can’t make up their mind. Well played Clarke, well played. As a reward, you’re doing next year now too,” wrote Ardern.
