If you’ve grown tired of endlessly scrolling Instagram and bingeing Netflix, the house of Christian Dior has come to the rescue with a high-fashion cultural fix.
Dior has opened the virtual doors to its enchanting Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams exhibition – which means you don’t even have to get out of your pyjamas to attend if the exhibition.
Originally held at Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, before it was shown at London’s V&A the following year, the breathtaking exhibition travels through time, revisiting Monsieur Dior’s most iconic creations before taking a close look at the work of the creative directors who have succeeded him including Yves Saint Laurent and Maria Grazia Chiuri. The exhibition spans over 70 years of the French fashion house and features haute couture dresses, precious archival photographs, sketches by Christian Dior and many other curiosities.
It’s the slice of escapism that we’ve all been craving.
