The Duchess of Cambridge channels Princess Diana as she meets with parents in London
The Duchess of Cambridge has stepped out to meet with parents and peer supporters in London’s Battersea Park, where she heard about the importance of parent-powered support programmes.

The dressed down duchess looked radiant as she discussed parent-to-parent support initiatives and how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting families.

There are thousands of parents across the UK who offer their experience and knowledge to help other families through such programmes. The duchess spoke with representatives and volunteers from various organisations running the initiatives to hear about their services.

Catherine’s casual look, consisting of M&S trousers, a Ralph Lauren t-shirt and Superga sneakers, reminded us of Princess Diana’s chic 80s off-duty ensembles.

The duchess also wore a Daniella Draper necklace inscribed with G, C and L – the initials of her three children.

Mothers who spoke with Catherine said the duchess discussed how she fared during lockdown. According to mother Morgan Alex, Catherine was grateful for the “extra time” she was able to spend with her family.

“It sounded like she really appreciated lockdown for the extra time she’s been able to spend with her family and seeing the positives in that,” she said.
