Boston bomber found guilty
After being found guilty of carrying out the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev could now face the death penalty.

A jury has found Dzhokhar Tsarnaev guilty of the 2013 Boston Marathon which killed three people.

The 12 jurors took a day and a half to reach their verdict, which found Tsarnaev, 21, guilty on all 30 charges. Now these same jurors have to decide whether he should be executed by lethal injection.

Tsarnaev came to America as a child refugee from Kyrgyzstan. He and his brother Tamerlan planted two homemade explosives at the race finish line and then fled the scene. Three days later they killed a university police officer while attempting to steal his gun and later that day Tamerlan died in a confrontation with police.
