Some of music’s biggest names joined the lineup at this year’s virtual Democratic National Convention.

18-year-old pop sensation Billie Eilish delivered a moving rendition of her hit song ‘My Future’ at the 2020 Democratic National Convention, with a strong political message alongside it.

“You don’t need me to tell you things are a mess,” she said. “Donald Trump is destroying our country and everything we care about. We need leaders that will solve problems like climate change and Covid, not deny them.”

Folk-pop sensation Maggie Rogers stunned audiences with a moving performance of ‘Back in My Body’ featuring photographs of frontline workers and volunteers of COVID-19.

Actor, singer and fashion icon Billy Porter performed a rendition of Buffalo Springfield’s ‘For What It’s Worth’, joined by music legend Stephen Stills on the guitar.

John Legend closed night two of the convention with his song ‘Never Break’, recorded in an empty theatre before being joined by a choir of singers.

Musical powerhouse Jennifer Hudson chose Sam Cook’s ‘A Change Is Gonna Come’ for her performance, joined by a saxophone player and two pianists.

Soul singer Leon Bridges delivered a rooftop set for his performance of ‘Sweeter’.
