New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern and Pink organised a play date for the pop star's kids and baby Neve before her Auckland show.

New pictures have emerged of a backstage meeting between Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, and pop superstar Pink ahead of one of her many Auckland show in late 2018.

The images obtained by Stuff show Ardern and Pink in conversation with Baby Neve at her mother’s side. Pink’s kids were also there for the ‘play date’.

According to Stuff, the two women met on Friday night, September 7, at Spark Arena. “They were there for what’s been called an organised “play date”, where Pink’s two children, Jameson and Willow Hart, caught up with Neve Gayford,” the report said.

The couple gained global notoriety when baby Neve joined them at the United Nations General Assembly in New York in September. An image of the Prime Minister sitting next to her partner while holding their baby went viral.

Jacinda and Clarke Welcome New Baby (21/06/2018)

Jacinda Ardern, New Zealand’s very own Prime Minister, and her partner Clarke Gayford have welcomed their first child. A healthy baby girl was born at 4:45pm today weighing 3.31kg (7.3lb) in Auckland.

The Prime Minister’s due date was June 17th but her little one obviously wanted to enjoy a few more days of peace and quiet.

Jacinda, a champion for women and mothers everywhere, was the first pregnant world leader in nearly 30 years. In addition, she’s the country’s third female prime minister and the first to be sworn in while pregnant.

Prime Minister Ardern has always been an advocate for children. In fact, alongside the need to protect New Zealand’s heritage and its environment, her main priority in office is to secure the future of kiwi children. Ardern’s government is also currently implementing a swath of legislation to ease the burden for working families, such as increasing paid parental leave.
