The singer appeared to be getting in on the nostalgia as the BBC shared highlights from past festivals on Saturday night in place of coverage of the 2020 event – which had been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
She also confirmed there is no chance of new music any time soon.
On Saturday Adele set the record straight after a fan asked about when we could expect new music. “Teaser? Albums coming out today???!!!! Tell me now!!!” the fan asked.
In true Adele fashion, she replied, “Of course it’s not. Corona ain’t over. I’m quarantining. Wear a mask and be patient.”
