A piece of Provence in the heart of Melbourne

L’Occitane’s new Melbourne concept boutique is set to open early December right on time for the Christmas festive season.

Australia’s first L’Occitane flagship store is opening its doors on Melbourne’s Collins Street in December, at the entrance of the famed Block Arcade.

This new store is the latest addition to the French brand’s concept store expansion, which includes boutiques on the Champs Élysées in Paris, Regent Street in London, and 555th Avenue in New York.

New York design agency School House has designed the Melbourne store’s interior to complement the building’s ornate ceiling, which features hand-painted scenes by London-born decorator and scene painter Philip Goatcher. The store promises to disrupt the customer journey enabling you to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Along with its partners, the concept store will redefine the shopper experience in the spirit of Provence. Shoppers will be able to browse the brand’s high-quality skin care, fragrance and body care offerings – that all make for the perfect Christmas gift.

And, in the festive spirit, shoppers can have their gifts beautifully wrapped with ribbon and flowers, even a name engraving can be added for that personalised touch.

While your gifts are being expertly wrapped up, why not enjoy a paper session in the beauty lounge downstairs, including a Divine Secret Everlasting Youth facial ($140), Immortelle Secret of Youth facial ($180), Relaxing Aroma Massage ($120), Shea Nurturing Massage ($120) Mediterranean Voyage ($180) and Joureny to Provence ($210).

All this while you unwind with French boutique wines, enjoy luxurious champagne, delicious cheese platters and indulgent pastries.
