5 things you didn’t know about Rachel Weisz

Get to know ageless beauty and Hollywood A-lister, Rachel Weisz.

She’s a Bond girl: Well not a character, but literally married to a real life 007. Her and husband Daniel Craig, got married in 2011 and live in the East Village of New York’s Manhattan.

She’s no social media hack: She told MiNDFOOD that she much prefers talking about life and love with her husband, as opposed to connecting through social media. She says that she has a very limited social media presence, and prefers to keep her private life private.

She had her second child at 48: In April 2018, Weisz announced that she and Craig were expecting the couple’s first child together. The pair have never publicly announced their daughter’s name. It’s believed she is called Grace, with Craig’s elder daughter Ella appearing to have accidentally let the name slip on social media. In December, Ella shared a photo of a gingerbread house with the names of her family members written on the roof.

She’s daughter to refugees: Weisz told MiNDFOOD that she is proud of her Hungarian father, a successful inventor who fled to London with her mother because he was Jewish and looking to escape the Nazi regime.

Weisz and husband Craig are both March babies: Weisz was born March 7, while Craig celebrates his birthday only a few days earlier on March 2. The star is quite popular with her male audience, in 2010 being voted “the woman Esquire readers would most like to marry”.
