Iconic fashion designers WORLD are teaming up with the United Nations to support 17 Global Goals – an initiative launching on the 25th of September which will see 193 world leaders committing to 17 global goals to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and fix climate change over the next 15 years. “Since our inception in 1989, it has always been part of WORLD’s philosophy to give back, as our company has grown, so has the importance of our awareness and support for local and international charitable organisations,” states Francis Hooper.
WORLD is the first fashion house in the world to design a T-shirt for the United Nations, and their YOUN T-shirt will be available in a range of sizes starting at newborn, reflecting WORLD’s belief that humanitarian awareness needs to start young. Twenty percent of all the sales from the T-shirts will be donated to the UN.
WORLD’s YOUN T-shirt are available in-store and online at www.world.co.nz. Show your support by posting pictures of your T-shirt using the hashtag #worldbrandglobalgoals.
