With 673 vineyards and cellar doors dotted throughout New Zealand, it’d be a life’s work to visit every one. Winetopia, the annual celebration of Kiwi wine, aims to make it easy to enjoy the best wines by bringing many of them to one place at one time.
The Auckland festival will be held at Shed 10, Queen’s Wharf, on June 9-10, offering wine-lovers the opportunity to discover flavours from 60 wine producers throughout New Zealand, taste food pairings and enjoy master classes by leading authorities or tastings with sommeliers from leading restaurants.
Despite the name, Winetopia is not just about the grape. The grain gets a look in, with craft brewers Garage Project showcasing their unique beers.
For each of the three sessions over the two days, a limited number of MiNDFOOD premium tickets will be available. For details, visit winetopia.nz/winetopia-auckland
