While some may lament the fact that the cooler months of autumn are here, there is one delicious thing to celebrate about the season. The arrival of autumn brings with it an abundance of seasonal produce and to celebrate, Auckland restaurant Andiamo is hosting a divine autumn lunch with a special showcase of Vavasour wines.
The two-course menu invites diners to enjoy delicious Italian-inspired seasonal dishes, including burrata with scorched carrot, hazelnut, bronze fennel and grilled sourdough and red wine risotto with salt baked smoked beetroot and gorgonzola.
To pair alongside the set menu is a curated selection of Vavasour wines, hailing from the Awatere Valley in Marlborough. Guests can sample the special Vavasour Papa collection alongside their award-winning estate range.
The Andiamo Recommends Vavasour menu is available for lunch throughout April, Wednesday to Sunday. Two-courses are priced at $50pp with optional sides and desserts available.
