The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have conducted a royal engagement over video call, talking to the children of essential workers and teachers at Casterton Primary Academy.

In a heartwarming video posted to their social media, William and Catherine thanked staff at the school in Lancashire for their dedication as they keep schools open for vulnerable children and those of key workers.

The couple also spoke with students at the school, looking at their Easter-themed art creations and chatting about their time spent at school.

The couple were relaxed and friendly, introducing themselves to the children as Catherine and William.

They even gave viewers some insight into their own Easter celebrations at their home in Norfolk, with William revealing “there’ll be a lot of chocolate eaten here”.

Kate then teased her husband by saying, “You keep eating it!”

Meanwhile, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall have posted a photograph to social media to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary.

In their first photograph together since Prince Charles has come out of isolation after contracting coronavirus, the dressed-down pair are pictured holding Camilla’s dogs Bluebell and Beth.
