What’s on: NZ Comedy Festival brings three weeks of laughs this May
Shake off the winter blues and head along to the NZ Intl. Comedy Festival for some big laughs.

What: The NZ International Comedy Festival is back in 2021, featuring a stellar lineup of comedic talent, from late-night improv and comedy debates to rising stars and all your local favourites. Pop talents Two Hearts are back with their high energy, catch-as-hell concert, while Paul Williams hosts a “magical evening of music, romance and photos”.

Cult-favourite Snort is on for late-night improv and a host of comedians join in the Great Comedy Debate on whether technology will save us.

2019 Fred Award winner James Nokise returns with sharp, funny and insightful observations, Taskmaster NZ‘s Angella Dravid brings her signature style of awkward hilarity and James Roque delights audiences with his hit show Boy Mestizo. Other notable names include Rhys Mathewson, Pax Assadi, Brynley Stent, Tom Sainsbury, Michèle A’Court, Chris Parker and Laura Davis.
