Brunch for Beirut and Lunch for Lebanon at Kepos & Co
What: In aid of the devastating explosion that swept through Beirut earlier this month, Sydney’s Kepos & Co will be hosting Brunch for Beirut and Lunch for Lebanon. Chef/owner Michael Rantissi will collaborate with friends of the hospitality industry to create a traditional Lebanese-inspired menu over two days at Kepos & Co.
Next Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August, Michael will be joined by Maeve O’Meara (Gourmet Safari), Pierre Issa (Pepe Saya), Carol & Sharon Salloum (Almond Bar, Darlinghurst), Judy Saba (self obsessed foodie and cross-cultural psychologist, diversity trainer for NSW Police), Merna Taouk (Merna’s Crumpets), Larissa Takchi (2019 MasterChef winner) and Sydney-based food writer, Fouad Kassab. Together they will share traditional Lebanese dishes, stories of their time in Beirut, and raise much needed funds for the city.
