What is FaceGym? Meet the facial workout brand ready to bring the glow
We're familiar with a workout to tone and strengthen our body, but what if we tried the same for our face?

Now’s as good a time as any, as FaceGym arrives at MECCA from today.

The British brand is dedicated to special facial workouts approach designed to lift, tone and tighten the 40+ oft-forgotten muscles in our faces. The brand has popular studios in UK, NYC and L.A where you can go to experience facial ‘workouts’ where ‘trainers’ use high-energy kneading movements including knuckling, pinching, whipping strokes, and Gua Sha as well as cutting-edge technology to help sculpt and firm your face and neck. The approach promises both instant and long-term results promising tension release, deep relaxation, detoxification and targeted lymphatic drainage.

Periodically the the workouts are also available online, with live masterclasses supported with a range of tools and an advanced skincare range of serums, cleansers and creams.

Now, the brand has just opened its first branch in the Southern Hemisphere, a Facegym studio within at MECCA’s Flagship George Street Store in Sydney. Visitors can experience the famous FaceGym workouts, starting from $100. For example, the ‘I Need It All’ workout includes a tension-releasing neck and shoulder massage, a fast-paced hit of collagen-boosting facial massage techniques, skincare application and the use of cryo and radiofrequency tools.

For those not able to travel, FaceGym’s product and tool range is also now available online across New Zealand and Australia. These can be used as part of your regular skincare routine or you can use with FaceGym’s unique toning methods, found in videos from the brand.

The products and techniques are undertaken using your hands and the help of small tools like a tennis-ball-sized face ball or flat contouring tool for your face and face oil for glide.

FaceGym tutorials are also being held at some branches.
