Westfield Newmarket welcomes four new luxury brands

Aucklanders are finally able to shop ’til they drop thanks to Level 3 restrictions easing for the city at midnight on Tuesday.

Non-essential retail stores will be able to operate once again, and it means that new, first-to-New Zealand luxury boutiques at Westfield Newmarket can finally open their doors.

Four luxury brands will open at the mall on Wednesday: Balenciaga, Burberry, Moncler and Michael Kors.

“We’re certainly seeing a strong sense of anticipation and demand from customers to return to physical retail experiences and from tomorrow, this will include the opportunity to visit four new luxury brands at Westfield Newmarket,” says Paul Gardner, Scentre Group Regional Manager.

“For Burberry and Balenciaga, this will be the first time connecting with New Zealand customers, here on our shores.”

These new additions join Mulberry and Saint Laurent, which opened in the precinct earlier this year.

It comes as Westfield Newmarket also announced Coach as the latest signing to the luxury precinct located on Level 1.

“The appetite from international luxury brands to come to New Zealand and take up space within Westfield Newmarket has been pleasing to see,” Gardner says.

The full line up of luxury brands opening at Westfield Newmarket includes: Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Partridge Jewellers, Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors, Coach and Mulberry, with further names to be announced.
