There's no denying that most celebrities have an army of professionals behind them to keep them looking good, but the real key to their success isn't the latest treatment or product.

See how the stars keep themselves healthy, fit and happy.

Heidi Klum

While she certainly has a healthy dose of supermodel genes, Heidi Klum also sticks to nutritious food 99.99% of the time, plus a daily workout, to keep looking and feeling good.

Heidi’s nutritionist Oz Garcia revealed her daily diet includes lots of wholefoods like scrambled eggs and spinach with fresh fruit for breakfast, chicken and vegetable stir-fry with rice for lunch, and salmon and salad for dinner.

Snacks are a small handful of nuts, a piece of fruit, a green juice, a boiled egg or some plain yoghurt.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry has opened up about the benefits of therapy for her mental health. In 2018, the star revealed she spent time at a mental health retreat after an album she released flopped.

She said that instead of self-medicating with substances or withdrawing she decided to seek out therapy to help her process her feelings of depression.  Perry found therapy invaluable and that the experience gave her a “wholeness”.

George Clooney

The actor has discussed how he manages the chronic pain, headaches and poor sleep he endures as a result of a back injury in 2005 while filming Syriana. In July 2018 he was also in a scooter accident that put him in hospital with minor injuries.

To help manage the pain and stay healthy Clooney works out daily and is careful to eat a healthy diet, avoiding fatty food and some dairy products. The actor favours cardio workouts of low intensity like hiking, yoga and swimming.

Sandra Bullock

Bullock works out with celebrity trainer Simone De La Rue, who uses ten-minute interval workouts of strength-training movements and high-intensity cardio. Simone told Women’s Health she will sometimes incorporate resistance bands for strength and dance or skipping for cardio. Bullock also enjoys yoga and pilates, the trainer says.

Bullock focuses on controlled meal portions and sticks to fresh, free-range food. She enjoys chicken and turkey meals that are sugar and gluten-free, CBS News reports. The star eats throughout the day to ensure her metabolism remains high.

While the Sandra Bullock wellness routine involves healthy eating most of the time, she sets aside one day a week to indulge. “I start Friday night and I end Saturday night,” she told InStyle about her set-aside splurge day.

Meghan Markle

The Duchess of Sussex makes time to exercise, no matter what. “My health, my state of mind, the feeling you have after a workout; all of these things drive me to step onto my mat or go to the gym,” she says.

“Sometimes the idea of working out sounds absolutely dreadful, but I always remind myself of how good it will feel afterward. Euphoric, almost!”

Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet likes to keep herself hydrated. “I drink lots and lots of water!” she says. She also uses juice and smoothies to keep herself fuelled throughout the day.

For breakfast, the actress said she will “usually make a smoothie”, and says her diet includes “lots of green juicing”. “Our fridge is always full of spinach, kale, cucumbers,” she says. “I’m vegetarian and my husband is vegan, so there’s a lot of plant-based focus in our home.”

For exercise, the star favours: “Power yoga class a couple of times a week, some barre, cardio, and we have a dog, so I love going on walks.”

Victoria Beckham

When it comes to feeling good and staying fit, Victoria is super disciplined. She combines a mix of cardio and strength training, getting up early and working out at 5.30am in the morning to complete her workouts before starting work.

She told The Guardian she starts with 7k on the treadmill, a mix of uphill fast walking, jogging, running.

“That’s the only time I watch TV – boxsets, documentaries – so I look forward to that. It takes 45 minutes. Then I work out with a trainer – 30 minutes legs, 30 minutes arms, toning and conditioning, then loads of planks and that kind of thing for my core.

“I am very, very disciplined in the way that I work out, in what I eat. That’s how I’m happiest. I expect a lot from my body. I’ve got four kids, I work a lot, I travel. For me to do all that, I have to eat healthily and work out.”

Margot Robbie

The Aussie actress doesn’t follow a strict exercise regime. “If I have the time, I like dance classes; it doesn’t feel like exercise to me. Or just playing sports with friends”, she told Harper’s Bazaar. “Sometimes I play tennis, even though I’m not that good. If I’m in L.A., I go see Andie Hecker. She used to be a ballerina, and she incorporates ballet techniques with a Pilates machine with weights.”

She values sleep as part of her wellbeing routine. “I’ve got eye masks and sleep music and melatonin and lots of soothing scents. I do everything possible to try to sleep better,” she explains. “I can’t go home and fall straight asleep; it takes a long time to switch my brain off.”

Jennifer Lawrence

Lawrence’s former trainer Dalton Wong revealed one of his top tips to the actress was to get enough sleep. “I’ve always told her that when you’re travelling and you arrive somewhere and you’re really fatigued, have a power nap,” he told The Daily Mail. “Relax. Let your body recharge. Try not to burn the candle at both ends.”

For Lawrence, it’s about having a good relationship with food. “Dalton taught me how to eat, move and live a delicious but healthy life,” she wrote in a preface to one of the trainer’s books.

Dalton advised the star to limit her portion size rather than steer clear of specific foods, allowing her to enjoy alcohol, chocolate and other foods in moderation. “When I’m in London I love to train in [Dalton’s] gym, then afterwards we go out for burgers and fries with his family. It’s all about balance,” Lawrence says.

When working out, Lawrence mixes things up with a range of activities. The star usually begins with a run, before doing resistance training, squats and weightlifting. Often she will do yoga or pilates as well.

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston’s personal trainer Leyon Azubuike says she works out seven days a week for 90 minutes each session. The sessions are varied from boxing to strength training, and they are always challenging.
