Meghan Markle is reunited with her wedding dress in a heartwarming trailer for a new documentary.
Queen of the World is a new documentary series which shows members of the royal family sharing their thoughts about Queen Elizabeth and the Commonwealth, the family of nations linked to the UK. A documentary series gives the world further insight into the lives of our favourite royals, including moments when Meghan Markle relives her marriage to Prince Harry.
The documentary will be released ahead of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex undertaking their royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga – their first official tour of Commonwealth nations as a married couple.
The Telegraph reports that the clip of Meghan Markle seeing her wedding dress in the Queen of the World documentary shows her being “reunited with her wedding gown and veil for the first time since her wedding day,” as it gets prepared for an exhibition.
“Fifty-three countries, oh my goodness,” says the 37-year-old in the clip from the documentary, which will include her first interview since becoming a royal. “It’ll keep us busy.”
The former actress appears to be wearing the same Roland Mouret dress she sported on the day before her wedding to Prince Harry, 33, so it’s possible viewers will be treated to candid footage from their big day.
The two-part Queen of the World examines Elizabeth II’s passion for the Commonwealth and how she is passing on the baton to the younger generation.
