Victoria Beckham’s Beauty Line Is Launching Down Under: Here’s What To Buy

It's a good day in the beauty world if you're based in Australia or New Zealand.

That’s because it’s just been announced that for the first time since Victoria Beckham launched her beauty line six years ago, it will be available in stores Down Under.

Not just any stores, but Victoria Beckham Beauty will be sitting pretty on the shelves at MECCA and online at the beauty emporium’s website, making easy to get our hands on. The full range of sophisticated, modern makeup and skincare will be available at MECCA from October 21.

Since her rise to fame in the Spice Girls, Beckham has been known for her refined sense of taste, her ‘Posh’ aesthetic then extended to her own fashion label in 2008.

We were huge fans of her first foray into beauty – a collaboration line with Estee Lauder – so we were thrilled when she developed her very own products.

The dismay came when we couldn’t buy the luxe products here. Only in recent years has international shipping become available but it’s a costly endeavor, so we’re thrilled about this new development.

What we love about the products is that they feel carefully considered, with none that are just there for the sake of it. Beckham regularly shows herself applying them (see her ‘exact’ five minute routine), and talks about how she uses little tips and tricks. Honed from years of sitting in the chair of professional makeup artists as well as her own use, her products are beautiful, and as premium as their price-point to use.

By her own accounts she’s uncompromising on quality.

“My beauty brand mirrors most aspects of my life: A pursuit of the best,” Beckham says.

“Victoria Beckham Beauty products merge my sense of discipline with my creative spirit – a love of colour, design, and details – that has always fueled my greatest successes,” she says of the motivation that drives her fashion line too. “With innovation and luxury as my north stars, every product we create looks forward, elevating what is possible in beauty and in our everyday lives.”

What to shop first

The range is extensive and covers skincare that perfectly primes and plumps skin for her makeup products, as well as tools and a fragrance collection.

This is our edit of the best – and most notable – items in the collection to check out first when the collection drops at MECCA.

Satin Kajal Liner

Perhaps the most popular product in the entire collection, this liner comes in more than 20 shades (although some are seasonal editions) and is beloved by beauty editors the world over. Not to mention the brand touts it has 25,000 five-star reviews from users.

It’s a waterproof kajal eyeliner with a creamy texture that glides on smoothly and lasts really well. It can be smudged slightly on application for Victoria’s famous smokey eye, but it does set fast without smudging.

The Foundation Drops with TFC8

The newest item in the collection, this complexion perfector sums up everything the brand is about. Blurring the line betwen skincare and makeup, it’s a serum-like skin tint that has advanced skincare properties courtesy of an ongoing collaboration with Augustinus Bader.

So you’re getting the regenerative properties of  Augustinus Bader’s TFC8 a formula of amino acids, vitamins, and peptides and a light, fresh-looking skin base that buffs into skin easily.

Portofino ’97 Eau de Parfum

The most romantic element of the brand harks back to one key half of brand Beckham – David, that is. This perfume was apparently inspired by the first holiday the star couple took together, visiting the Italian Riviera early during the height of early fame back in 1997.

Perfect for summer, it’s a citrus-woody blend with notes of bergamot, amber and vetiver.

Posh Lipstick

We love the way Victoria playfully named this lipstick in reference to her old persona. It’s a moisturising, balm-feel formula but with good pigment payoff, all we want in a lipstick these days! It comes in plenty of modern nude hues but reds and plum too.

Eye Wardrobe Multi-Finish Palette

Small but mighty, you can see Victoria uses these palettes with almost every look she creates on her Instagram. They contain a mix of matte and shimmers and come in balanced, fashion-forward shade selections that make achieving a polished result easy.
