Victoria Beckham shares ‘number one beauty tip’ to fake 8 hours of sleep

With a high-end fashion line, a globally famous husband and four children, each becoming well-known in their own right, Victoria Beckham’s Instagram timeline is constantly ticking over.

But in-between the glamorous events, her son’s multi-million dollar wedding and vacations in tropical locations, we occasionally get updates about her popular beauty line, Victoria Beckham Beauty.

In one of her latest posts you might be surprised to see the superstar, also known as Posh Spice, with little-to-no makeup at all.

Looking fresh-faced, the star shares a beauty tip she says she learned from a makeup artist that helps fake an awake look. In the process she introduces a new product from her Victoria Beckham Beauty line to use in the waterline, or lower rim of the eye.

“I distinctly remember the first time a makeup artist used a nude pencil along my waterline, ” she says in the post’s caption.

“I looked instantly polished and like I’d had 8 hours sleep (far from it!). I’ve been searching for the perfect clean waterline pencil ever since. Now, I’ve created it with the Instant Brightening Waterline Pencil, my number one beauty tip.”

In the video clip post she admits she has recently woken up after ‘a very late night last night and lots of red wine’.  The star says to refresh her skin she had applied “lots and lots and lots” of her Cell Rejuvenating Power Serum, followed by her Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer that has a radiant golden tint, to counter the dryness brought on by a big night, and was subsequently using her new pencil to help look more bright-eyed and ready to face the day.

“The first thing I’m going to do is apply my Instant Brightening Waterline Pencil. I’m going to put this along the inside part of my eye because what it does is take any redness that I might have in my eyes — and there’s quite a lot in there this morning — and it’s going to open, it’s going to refresh, and it’s going to make me look significantly better.”

The trick is sometimes used by makeup artists to make eyes look brighter and is commonly done with a white eyeliner, but Beckham’s pencil, in a soft neutral tone, is designed to be slightly more subtle and work with any skin tone.

The long-lasting formula is said to stay on the eye’s waterline for hours without being affected by eyes watering or tears.
