US officials warn of North Korea preparations

A CNN report has told of US intelligence satellites seeing signs that North Korea may be preparing for an unprecedented launch of a mobile ballistic missile.Two US officials told a CNN reporter that North Korea could launch either its Kn-08 or Kn-14 mobile ballistic missiles which could hit the Pacific Northwest of the United States.

There are also concerns a missile could hit Guam and Shemya Island in the outer reaches of Alaska’s Aleutian chain.

The moves could also be about North Korea playing games with the US – North Korea is well aware US satellites constantly watch the despotic country.

Recent photos showing North Korean leader Kim Jong Un standing next to what he claims is a miniaturised nuclear device – claims that are still being scrutinised by US. analysts for any indication of progress in the development of nuclear missiles.
