It’s a case of art imitating life for Vali and Sugriva, two chimps who were taken to the movies to watch a new flick about their species, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
Eagerly buying their own movie tickets, paying for their popcorn, and flashing their ticket at the door, Vali and Sugriva sat with their chaperones throughout the movie, laughing at all the right bits, grimacing at the scary parts and cheering for the good guys.
A few moviegoers were surprised by the choice to take the chimps along, scared for an ape revolt similar to that of the film. Take a look below.
