Fresh from their rumoured honeymoon in Ireland, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have joined the Royal family to celebrate the Queen’s 92nd birthday in London.
The Duchess opted for a pastel pink Carolina Herrera dress, featuring a flattering fold-down bardot neckline and button detail. While the Queen, Duchess of Cornwall and Duchess of Cambridge all wore hues of blue.
It is the first official engagement for the Duchess of Cambridge following the birth of her third child, Prince Louis last month. The Duke of Cambridge and his father, the Prince of Wales, accompanied the Queen on horseback in a formal capacity as the royal colonels.
The annual event, attended by 1000s on the forecourt at Buckingham Palace will parade the flag of the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards this year. The Duke of Edinburgh, who celebrates his 97th birthday on Sunday, has retired from official public duties and is not expected to attend.
The Royal family will gather on the balcony at Buckingham Palace shortly to watch the RAF fly past.
