We’re always eager to see what the international fashion week’s serve up trend wise.
While we’re right in the middle between Milan and Paris Fashion Week’s, there’s one trend that’s been flagged as particularly dominant for Spring/Summer 2026.
Texture and volume are repeating ideas turning up, and one way the former is being represented is with long trailing fringe. Often silky and luxe-looking or metallic and bold, it’s been attached to sleeves, hems, accessories (long thin scarves are a popular approach) and even whole dresses made of it. Even leather jackets and knitwear gain a slightly western edge with the in-favour detailing.
One of the best parts about the trend is that there are plenty of options already available in stores from the likes of Rebe, Meshki, Acne Studios and Stella McCartney.
