Luxury travel company Luminary Experiences have created tailor-made journeys, curated and led by famous artists, actors, chefs and designers.
The trips will be centred around fashion, wellness, food, history and the outdoors, promising to “once-in-a-lifetime experiences [that] break from the typical luxury travel model.”
The first tour starts in August 2020, with famed historian Doris Kearns Goodwin guiding travellers around Paris and Normandy. The trip includes a private trip up the Eiffel Tower with a descendant of Gustave Eiffel and a stay at an 18th-century chateau.

Other trips include a tour of Iceland with Game of Thrones star Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, a food tour of Naples with chef Simone Falco, and an inside look at Milan’s fashion world with actor and model Jeffrey Bowyer Chapman.
CEO Cameron Macmillian told Lonely Planet that “not only are [guests] getting to share a destination with someone they admire…they also get actually one-of-a-kind experiences that aren’t open to the public.”
