Usually at this time of the year the MiNDFOOD team visit Italy for Salone del Mobile, the Milan Furniture Fair. It’s here that we get to explore the new trends and products for the year ahead. Of course this year is a little different.
The upside? We can still share what’s new and exciting, and we can now do it as soon as it releases. Here is what is catching our attention.
Organic shapes
Musa is a new lighting collection designed by Note Design Studio. When developing the new lights they used paper models to help capture an organic expression. The wall and table light consist of an aluminum base plate which holds a small glass sphere giving a soft illumination.
Monochrome
This apartment features the work of the design studio led by Dmitry and Egor Petrov. The sophisticated and sensual interior exudes a feeling of tranquillity and intimacy thanks to the monochromatic palette and a meticulous attention to detail.
At the centre of the living area dominates the Neowall sofa by Piero Lissoni for Living Divani. Covered in a dark grey-toned fabric: a composition of large, wide and asymmetrical shapes devoted to comfort, enlivened by cushions that play on the contrast between the dark leather and fabrics decorated with black and white patterns
