When photographer Tom Hussey released his “Reflections of The Past” series, the world was reminded of the rich stories of our elderly population.
Now the photographer has released new images to coincide with the campaign and further the understanding of the experience of men and women living in aged care facilities.
These gorgeous insights into perceptions of the elderly population act to remind the present generation, that the wealth of knowledge these people hold, should be harnessed and cherished.
Hussey was inspired by a World War II veteran who said “I can’t believe I’m going to be 80. I feel like I just came back from the war. I look in the mirror and I see this old guy.”
