Prince Louis slept snuggly in his mother's arms, a picture of peace the traditional handmade replica of the Royal Christening gown.
The 1841 original was created by Jane Sutherland and was made of Spitalfields silk and Honiton lace. It was worn by 62 royal babies before it became too fragile to use.
The new one was made by the Queen's dresser Angela Kelly and was debuted at Prince Edward's son James, Viscount Severn in 2008.
