Could there be a more talked about beauty development in recent years than LED light therapy? It’s debatable.
Initially only available in skin clinics and salons, the ability to access the collagen-stimulating and acne-fighting treatment at home with a mask device has changed the game again.
Now, one of the most anticipated arrivals in the category has landed on our shores.
Shark’s CryoGlow Cooling & LED Face Mask has caught plenty of buzz after launch overseas, so we’ve been eagerly waiting for the hero beauty tool to become available here.
Thank goodness that time has now come, with the just-launched mask now available to shop.

From the spa to your bedroom
Beauty routines are quickly evolving and devices that provide quick, effective results without leaving your bathroom or bedroom are top of the most-wanted list in 2026.
With busy schedules, achieving at-home, clinic-level results is a global goal, with high-tech beauty tools repeatedly mentioned by forecasters as a trend that will change what’s possible for improving our skin.
They might require a slightly higher upfront investment, but the upside is you won’t have any ongoing expenses. Just like cost per wear, we like to think of cost per treatment.
Shark’s just-launched tool has quickly convinced us with its ability to provide a number of functions in one impressive device, as it combines LED with cryotherapy, another popular in-clinic-approach.
Plus, it’s so easy, you can use it lying down with your eyes closed. Dream result!
What are LED light treatments?
By now most of us are familiar with the glow-inducing powers of LED light treatments. You likely will have seen the vaguely sci-fi- looking masks that emit specific wavelengths of light using red-and blue-light-emitting diodes.
Unlike other masks in the quickly growing market, Shark’s multitasking CryoGlow Under- Eye Cooling + LED Mask has been developed with dermatologists to provide four different treatments, so it’s customisable to help meet your individual skin goals.
Use of the mask helps to treat fine lines and wrinkles, improve uneven skin and blemishes, and soothe, de-puff and tighten the under-eyes. It does this by combining a number of technologies, using high-energy LEDs, deep-penetrating infrared and under-eye cooling.

LED treatments are hugely popular because they have been proven to trigger a response at a cellular level. However, they come in a number of formats and not all are one and the same. To get effective and safe results, precise wavelengths and facial positioning are crucial.
We’ve found there are plenty of other considerations that make a real difference, too, such as comfort and fit, the time it takes to use, and value.
Global product design and tech company SharkNinja has put its development expertise to the task of creating an LED skin device that is straightforward to use.
Since its launch in the US last year, Shark Beauty CyroGlow is the #1 Skincare Facial Device in the US.1
What does it do?
The full-face CryoGlow Mask works in minutes on one of three LED treatment modes using a specific combination of red, blue, and near-infrared light. This allows wavelengths to penetrate multiple layers of skin to encourage regeneration on a cellular level.
In addition, the included cryotherapy treatment targets the under-eyes to help reduce puffiness and swelling, a common complaint where fluid can pool in the delicate under-eye area.
Four included treatment modes
This multi-talented device offers four treatment modes:
Better Ageing – This mode uses red and infrared LED known to stimulate collagen to reduce fine lines and firm skin in 8 weeks.2
Skin Clearing – Blue light is used to target and reduce acne-causing bacteria and achieve a more even complexion.
Under-Eye Revive – The mask’s attached under-eye chill pads use cryotechnology with levels of cooling to instantly tighten and de-puff the area and help you relax.
Skin Sustain – Intended to maintain radiance after 8-week Better Ageing or Skin Clearing treatment cycle.
While other options use floppy silicone, the hard shell of the CryoGlow Mask has a key purpose, keeping the LEDs consistently positioned in the right place. This gives your skin full coverage without hotspots or gaps in
treated areas. In total, CryoGlow has 480 light sources and has been tested across different skin types and colours.
